Barnes-Jewish St. Peters Hospital Auxiliary Offers $10K in Scholarships for 2011

With the cost of higher education on the rise, Barnes-Jewish St. Peters Hospital wants to help offset some of that burden.  Until May 15, the Barnes-Jewish St. Peters Hospital Auxiliary will accept applications for five $2,000 scholarships for college students seeking careers in human health care-related fields.

Scholarship applicants must be a primary resident of St. Charles County, have a grade point average of 3.0 (or higher) on a 4.0 scale, have completed at least 20 credit hours in one year of college and be registered for the next semester.  The Auxiliary will award scholarships on a basis of academic achievement and financial need.  Applications must be postmarked no later than May 15, 2010.
