"Grandma...Let's Help Make a Dream Come True!

Two weeks ago, we featured the following story about a Fort Zumwalt beloved teacher, Melissa Evans, her Fiancee' Kolby and their efforts to win their  Dream Wedding to be held this Valentine's Day.!This past weekend, we found out that the couple won the wedding of their dreams!

We asked you to help by taking time to vote and you responded in a big way! We thank you for your assistance in making  this happen for this young couple. Let's hope they send us some pictures?   (Original Story Below)

When my granddaughter, the lovely Cera stopped by the office to ask a favor, I knew it had to be something near and dear to her heart. Cera never asks for much, but this day she was on a mission and she was recruiting any and all assistance she could find.

Cera announced, with great excitement, that her FAVORITE teacher was trying to win a wedding through Y98 radio. Cera wanted to man all our computers and start voting for her teacher to win The Mosby Building Arts Y98 Mega Wedding to be held on Valentine's Day at the St. Louis Magic House.

The y98 website explains that "The Mosby Building Arts Y98 Mega Wedding is back and one lucky winning couple will receive a romantic Valentine's Day Wedding valued at over $20,000!

The winning couple will be married by Guy Phillips at The Magic House, St. Louis Children's Museum on Valentine's Day, Tuesday, February 14th. Y98 will provide everything from the dress, tux, honeymoon,  reception, ceremony, party rentals, rehearsal dinner, catering and more!"

Melissa Evans, a 6th Grade Science Teacher at North Middle School in the Fort Zumwalt School District instills a real love of learning and living in her students. Cera is a big fan of the dynamic teacher and wants everyone to help make her dream wedding come true. So as I did a little nosing around the site, I learned that Melissa, and her fiance Kolby, are high school sweethearts. Together for ten years, the couple has grown together through ups and downs.

Melissa's finacee', Kolby, is a computer guy. This Christmas, Kolby proposed to Melissa. The couple fondly remembers celebrating their one year anniversary at The Magic House, and knew that becoming the Y98 Mega Wedding winner would bring them full circle to the place where the “Magic” started.

So, we at the Scoop Newspaper are jumping on board and asking all our readers to take a moment to vote for this wonderful couple to receive that dream wedding! Helping out is simple.

Please go to Y98.radio.com and vote for Mellisa and Kolby! You can vote as many times as you like.  After the first vote, just hit F-5 and vote again. Repeat: Vote and hit F-5, Vote and hit F-5, Vote and hit F-5 again, etc, etc, etc... it's that simple!
