Our Special Angel Found His Wings

In Loving Memory of Danny Spears

Danny Spears peacefully passed away on Friday, May 14, 2010 at the age of 49 years old.  Dear friends, Robin and Scott, who were at his side throughout his battle against pancreatic cancer, were also present to wish him farewell.

Danny was a quiet kind of person who didn’t care to collect ‘things’ in life. Instead, Danny valued friendships and gave of himself in unique and lasting ways. To our family, Dan was an angel. Dan was a gift that God sent to us to help us through some of the most troublesome times in our lives. And, Dan served his ‘purpose’ well.  For, throughout Cary Voss’s battle with terminal cancer, Dan was ever-present as a source of care, support and uplifting humor. Dan earned his wings and has now joined his loved ones and friends in paradise.

Dan left an abundance of friends with a tremendous amount of joyous memories to carry us all through our lifetime, after which we hope to see him again in eternity.  Until then, we will miss Dan and be forever grateful for his friendship.
