Siteman Cancer Center Provides Speakers for Non-Profits Organizations
The physicians and clinicians at the Siteman Cancer Center at Barnes-Jewish St. Peters Hospital are recognized for their clinical expertise and often are requested to speak locally on a wide range of topics. By continually addressing changes in the health care environment and staying on top of trends that shape and impact cancer care, Siteman’s speakers have advanced knowledge on their topics, offering insight and opinions that help advance the future of cancer care.
Speakers are provided at no charge to non-profit organizations based on availability. A minimum 4-week notice to a group size of 25 or more is preferred. Topics include but are not limited to: the prevalence of cancer in our community, best cancer practices; up-to-date screening guidelines, role of heredity and lifestyle choices in cancer occurrence; wellness and prevention programs such as the LIVEN program (LifeStyle InterVention with Exercise and Nutrition), and the latest in cancer treatment available at the Siteman Cancer Center and clinical research available through Washington University School of Medicine.
